As a specialist in the core of Itho Daalderop's heat pumps, you are the knowledge bearer. You are at the heart of the development of heat pumps and play a decisive role in the latest developments and improvements. You test your theories and calculations in the laboratory, looking at the practical possibilities together with your colleagues. Because that’s what they do at Itho Daalderop: collaborate!
As a Product Engineer, you, along with over 30 colleagues, are responsible for the (further) development and life cycle management of our heat pumps. In this role, you work closely with other colleagues: Product Engineers, Project Leaders, Technicians, and Managers, but of course also with our partners and suppliers.
As a Product Engineer Heat Pumps, your daily tasks include:
- Initiating, developing, and monitoring the program of requirements
- Determining and adhering to objectives in terms of quality, safety, performance, sustainability, and cost price
- Maintaining an overview of your projects regarding changes in both products and components
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; your products always meet these!
- Investigating new techniques

Practical work, hands-on tasks are no problem for you; besides theoretical knowledge, you enjoy getting your hands dirty, and a cooling circuit holds few secrets for you.
You are eager to use this knowledge—together with our team—to create a winning product.
Your Key to Success
- Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or similar at a higher professional education (HBO) / university level (WO)
- Preferably some relevant work experience in a similar role
- You have an affinity for sustainable energy technology
- Good communication skills in English and preferably also Dutch
- Interest in achieving a healthy and comfortable indoor climate
- A strong desire to further develop yourself
