Yacht is hiring a team lead for a small team in Lemmer.
For this position, it's crucial you're at the office every day. You will be the go-to person for difficult questions, technical issues, and leads the team in the right direction. The primary responsibility of the role is for guiding / coaching and supporting the local team. You'll report to the Local Site Managers and Operational Project Manager in the team.
About the team:
A small and engaged team of four Senior Technicians working in for day's shift pattern On/Off in the office and in the field.
The Senior technicians (ST-s) are troubleshooters with a long track record of experience in the field. They are based on age and personal situations, not ready to work 100% in the office. To have enough Back-office support, we created a 50/50 role in their current roster of 4 days of 12 hours. This means in 16 days they are 4 days in the office and 4 fays outside in the field. This creates a lot of gaps in relation to topics going forward, communication, periodization, ownership etc. This needs to be streamlined by a person with project experience and a direct, visible point of contact Monday to Friday.
What will you do?
You are responsible for day-to-day offshore operations and reporting into the local Service Manager. The role will involve both technical (with support of the ST-s) and non-technical activities. Technician and Customer management will play an integral part of the day-to-day role, so leadership, planning, and communication skills are vital. Accountable for providing technical, safety, and leadership competence at a local level, the role will support wind farm availability whilst executing planned maintenance.
You'll set objectives and deliver agreed results that have direct impact within the job area. It is expected to make sure technical facts, practices, etc. are presented to the internal and external stakeholders. Check for and identify problems to update or modify existing working methods within own function.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Drive the standards, expectations, guidelines, and culture to achieve an incident and injury free project execution in alignment with a clear safety mindset and Siemens Zero Harm Program(s),
- Execute project strategy in accordance with project management standards through stakeholder engagement within the organizational processes, previous lessons learned, operational efficiencies and in alignment with Business Objectives and customer expectations,
- Management of customer relationship through effective communication plan and escalation process to ensure project requirements and expectations are met
- Regular reporting / up
Important is you already live in The Netherlands, in proximity of Lemmer. Candidates who apply from abroad or live further than 50 KM from Lemmer will be automatically rejected.

What you need to make a difference:
- At least 4-6 years of experience as a Trouble Shooter in the field.
- An electro-technical background.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate analysis and results.
- Strong networking and team-playing abilities.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Dutch; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Availability to travel to Lemmer and Breezanddijk facilities as needed for work.
Competenties
You're a technical person, a team lead, with senior experience in the field. You know how to handle when there's a stressful situation, a clear communicator and are a natural leader. Your work is practical, and with your analytical mindset, you make processes visible and can explain the steps to several stakeholders. You're a project leader with a helicopter view and will guide the team on 2 wind farms. You check every step in the process to make sure the goal will be reached on time and within budget, while all stakeholders are in the know. Not only that, but you're good at making a plan of action and follows through. And, finally, you have a keen sense of humour and a great and trustworthy colleague.

- Salary: €3750 – €4250 p.m. based on full time.
