We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our Communications department for the duration of 7 months. In this role you will be a member of the Brand & Digital Team and report to the Head of Brand Activation. You are a first point of contact for all social media activities and responsible to safeguard and grow ASML’s presence on social channels by defining and executing the channel strategy, activating communication programs and events, and protecting brand reputation through governance, social listening, and community management. You collaborate with the senior social media manager, content team, regional brand teams and communications business partners to define the social media priorities, content and calendar, all aligned to our communications priorities.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and planning
- Own the global social media channel strategy and roadmap, aligned to strategic priorities and audiences across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Executive Voices and Employee Advocacy.
- Define content priorities and calendar in partnership with the relevant stakeholders and regional teams.
- Translate leadership and corporate initiatives into activation plans for social, including Executive Voices and key event amplification.
Content operations
- Lead editorial planning and scheduling in Sprinklr, ensuring consistent publishing cadences and timely approvals.
- Ensure efficient management of content workflows and processes in collaboration with Brand Experience and content stakeholders and manage all accesses and permissions for campaign execution.
- Provide executive social support, including pre‑publication reviews and tagging, best practices and resolve platform issues with partner contacts.
Community management and brand protection
- Coordinate first line community management.
- Develop social listening topics and deliver regular reporting with actionable recommendations for the brand, alongside monitoring for crisis signals and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and support external community managers by providing clear guidance, best practices, and facilitating stakeholder alignment as needed.
Governance and compliance
- Enforce governance for channel naming, localization, and verification, and ensure adherence to corporate policies and security standards.
- Maintain Sprinklr workflows, ticket boards, and training schedules to uphold operational excellence.
- Issues reports.

- Interfaces: Social Media Tribe, Brand Activation colleagues, Strategic Communication teams, regional teams, platform partners and agencies.
