As a Platform Analyst/Platform Solution Manager, the individual brings expertise in process management spanning Portfolio, Program, and Project management, from ideation through to scaled agile portfolio management and execution. Additionally, they possess technical proficiency in the Planisware platform and its associated platforms like SAP and Azure DevOps. Collaborating closely with Business Process Owners, Solution Architects, Portfolio Managers, and Project Managers, the Platform Analyst/Solution Manager engages in the end-to-end application lifecycle management process. This includes activities such as ideation, feasibility studies, roadmap development, project initiation, design, backlog creation, testing, validation, deployment, maintenance, operations, and decommissioning of applications. Continuous improvement cycles are integral to ensuring the quality and performance levels of these applications.

The selected candidate (m/f/d) will join the Philips IT team, which spearheads the development of a connected, digital IT infrastructure for the future. This endeavor aims to foster business growth, ensure operational excellence, and drive innovation. Specifically, the candidate will be integrated into the Strategy2Innovation Program domain as part of the I2M platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in capturing business requirements and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver solution designs.
  • Work closely with Platform Solution Managers and Domain leads to support Solution/Release planning and Agile phases.
  • Aid Product Owners and Solution Architects in refining solution designs, including non-functional requirements (NFRs) and estimation.
  • Ensure high-quality backlog management to enhance the performance of scrum teams.
  • Take ownership of and optimize the end-to-end solution development process while supporting fellow DevOps engineers.
  • Support business functions in showcasing capabilities, training, deployments, and change management.
  • Identify gaps in process/tool adoption and initiate corrective actions to expedite transformation efforts.
  • Ensure that solution designs meet functional and non-functional requirements, emphasizing releasability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Ensure alignment of solution designs with platform architecture principles and guidelines, providing feedback for continuous improvement to the architecture community.
  • Participate in peer reviews, demos, and other scrum ceremonies.
  • Validate test strategies and plans, test cases, automation, regression, and test execution.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners/Business Process Engineers to identify critical end-to-end business processes and establish monitoring mechanisms.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during crisis management situations to ensure business continuity across global time zones.
  • Facilitate competence development for new entrants, including employees and partners.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and advancements in Platform Technology.

Functie-eisen

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree, or certification validation.
  • Extensive domain-specific competencies in Portfolio/Program/Project management (10 years), with a significant advantage in innovation domains.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Planisware and related IT technologies, including full project life-cycle implementation with a focus on architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in Planisware or related IT technologies, with the ability to discern and evaluate native features versus customization requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a strategic understanding of business models, particularly within the realm of Portfolio/Program/Project management.
  • Certification in one or more functional domains and associated business processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in consulting, solution architecture, and deployment training.
  • Proficiency in Lean Agile and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to effectively manage and address resistance to change.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Salary range: €4000 - €6000 Gross a month (depending on experience and education)
