As Solution Architect within Marketing & Sales you are responsible for designing and implementing effective technology solutions to meet the business needs. The Solution Architect plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that the solutions align with the overall enterprise architecture and strategic goals.
1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate the design to stakeholders.
2. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle. Promote the Architectural Guiding Principles defined at Enterprise Level.
3. Integration and Interoperability: Identify opportunities for system integration and ensure that solutions can seamlessly integrate with existing systems and infrastructure according the integration patterns defined by the Integration Team.
4. Compliancy Assessment: Identify and assess technical risks associated with the solution design and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure effective delivery of the solution. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align expectations and manage dependencies.
6. Solution Delivery: Provide technical oversight during the implementation phase to ensure adherence to the architectural design.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
- Experience: Experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a solution architecture role. Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in solution architecture, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in software architecture and design principles. Strong knowledge of system integration, application development, and cloud computing technologies. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, is beneficial.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and propose sound decisions. Ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities to influence and drive technical decisions. Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
