As an E-House engineer, you collaborate with the project team on modular relocatable units, E-houses/Skids, for the power supply of data centers. The team engages in detailed design, coordination, technical documentation creation, and preparation for assembly of these units. These units encompass electrical power distribution systems for both low and medium voltage. The emphasis lies in assembling the units while considering numerous interfaces. This includes mechanical, electrical, and cooling systems.
Short lead times and high customer demands create a lot of dynamism during the implementation.
In summary:
- Developing a technical design.
- Addressing questions related to layout, component selection, fire safety, cooling, mechanical interfacing, electrical auxiliary systems, and cabling (such as lighting, ventilation, fire detection).
- Coordinating interfaces with colleagues responsible for designing low-voltage distribution, medium-voltage systems, and rail channel systems.
- Reviewing technical basic and detailed designs.
- Proactively maintaining contact with the customer, considering commercial aspects.
- Organizing and participating in factory acceptance tests (FAT) with the customer.
- Creating documentation.
- Providing support from the office during assembly and commissioning.
- Handling outstanding issues and ensuring a proper project closure.
- Initiating and developing improvement proposals.
Functie-eisen
What do you bring to the table?
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, interface engineering, or systems engineering. Preferably with experience in an international project environment.
- Communicative and engaged.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; Dutch is advantageous.
- Already living in The Netherlands, in the Randstad area
