Rotating engineer with the addition of the senior role with responsibilities related to resource management.
(Coaching, performance review, skill development, priority setting).
Providing expert advice and realizing 2nd line trouble shooting in the (sub) expertise area "rotating
equipment" within Manufex work processes (Maintenance, IER, IP, Turnarounds and Projects and acting as a
knowledge carrier within this assigned area of expertise and functionally supporting the also other Engineers
operating within this field.
1. Solve problems/Corrective Maintenance
(Supporting and executing, in particular, 2nd line trouble shooting activities, including analyzing and
determining root causes, and if necessary proposing mitigating measures to increase the MTBF of rotating
equipment (c.f. industry standard) with the necessary quality control.
Issuing advice first time right. Participation in RCAs.)
2. Prevent problems/Preventive Maintenance
(Establishing the maintenance strategy and annual maintenance plan together with the Reliability Engineer
by introducing plant-specific knowledge so that the annual goals in the field of technical availability,
reliability and cost integrity are effectively achieved. Prepare and follow up LTE program within the field of
discipline.)
3. Built, maintain, ensure and apply knowledge & expertise on expertise domain
(Providing expertise, plant-specific knowledge and technical inputs to the Production and Maintenance,
Technology, TA and Projects departments in order to achieve better solutions and to keep the total life
cycle costs as low as possible. Assures in depth knowledge of turbine and compressor in his team.
Providing support in assessing whether the work has been carried out in accordance with the agreed scope,
and whether the work has been carried out in a quality manner.)
4. Develop Knowledge
(Follow developments and increase the knowledge level of technicians and users in the field of expertise.
Actively follow new developments and bring them to the attention. Advising Supervisor with regard to
training technicians. Have an active role in documenting and filing and communicating all relevant technical
information.)
5. TA en project scoping support
(Supporting the reliability engineer in drawing up, reviewing and challenging the TA scope list and
substantive scope.
Providing technical input to Projects & Turn Arounds in the scoping, design assessment, outsourcing,
selection and evaluation of activities of firms specific to the (sub) area of expertise, including with regard to
safeguarding the legal frameworks and Requirements.)
