As part of our strategy, Randstad is strengthening its digital capabilities and strives to work more closely with the 38 Randstad countries in collective leadership. The program that will bring many of these developments together is Connect IT. The program will start with the implementation in the Netherlands and will become the main platform for all operating companies (opcos) of Randstad in the coming years. The platform is synchronized with omnichannel, data, marketing and IT service solutions and is based on Salesforce and Bullhorn technology. The challenge is to keep all roadmaps and priorities aligned as the core platform is designed and the first users go live.

Randstad Group Netherlands faces an important challenge: in the summer of 2023 we want to go live with one "cockpit" for our consultants, so that they can get a grip on their daily work more easily and quickly. A more efficient work process allows them to focus more on the "touch" side of their work and thus enables them to surprise their customers and candidates (Customer Delight) in a positive way. To achieve this, we implement the global core (CRM/ATS) as much as possible, supplemented with solutions that enable integration to the mid- and back office and the current online landscape. To realize this ambition, we are looking for extra expertise to set up a solid process in the challenging playing field between the configuration teams in the global organization, the existing teams in the current IT organization in the Netherlands and the business. Your contribution helps to set the standard for the worldwide roll-out of R-one.

We are working on several Salesforce projects at this moment. 

Center of excellence

In the center of excellence Sales and ATS we are building on the global package that will be used by all OPCO's within our organization within the next few years. Features that will be developed in the COE are lead management, account management, opportunity management, pricing and quoting, etc.

Regional implementation teams

The regional implementation teams are responsible for implementing the global package to the first OPCO Netherlands. Activities within the regional teams are configuring the global package to the need of the OPCO, developing the OPCO specific features like local legislations and processes. Also the integration with back-office systems and migration from the current to the new solution will be part of the work in the regional teams.

Configuration team

You are part of the configuration team. You represent the team in national and international meetings and will therefore have a broader reach than purely the local team. In addition, you are part of a large program, so it is possible that you will participate on behalf of the Configuration Team in certain consultations or work formats that will cross teams.


Candidate will at least need to have experience with:

  • Salesforce Lightning
  • Salesforce Administrator Certificate
  • Platform knowledge
  • Lightning Flows
  • Visual Flows
  • Configuring Salesforce out-of-the-box functionalities

Candidate preferably also has experience with:

  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certificate
  • Other Salesforce Certificates
  • Apex
  • Lightning components
  • Lightning web components


Skills and competencies the candidate will need are:

  • fluent in Dutch & English, both orally and in writing
  • Good communication skills
  • A proactive team player
  • Solution-oriented thinking / Analytical thinking
  • Working with out-of-the-box functionality
  • Eager to learn
  • know your way in stakeholder management
  • be able to work in a environment concerning sometimes different interests
