For the benefit of a determination of the RWA and following reservation on the bank balance, the product Balance Compensation must be tested to the requirements within the Basel regulation both at the selling of the product as well as in the yearly review. This process needs to be developed and implemented in cooperation with the Business but also with the other stakeholders like the Grids, Modelling, Reporting, Credit Risk and Basel department. In general this process is necessary for the contracts within the Netherlands but also in some cases for existing agreements within our foreign branches. You work together with a team of Business Developers within the Grid Daily Banking but also need to align with teams in other (reporting) departments. 

What are you expected to deliver?

Implement a new way of working including a regular review process for the business on Balance Compensation where eligible requirements for Cash collateral are registered and reviewed per contract. Full reporting line for Balance compensation is in place according regulation requirements.  

Relevant knowledge skills & competences:

For the current Cash Pool proposition we need an experienced project leader, preferably with knowledge of and experience in the ABN AMRO organization. We require a candidate with an extensive knowledge of Balance compensation and its use for Business clients. Client focused with feeling for the challenges for Credit Risk Management, Credit Risk Models, Risk Weighted Asset calculation and how to apply the required models into the current financial reporting (CRD/CRR/FinRep). Understanding on regulatory requirements regarding capital requirements for credit risk - internal ratings based approach (IRB) and the standardized approach (SA) - such as CRR, relevant EBA Regulatory technical standards and EBA Guidelines. Preferably experience in credit risk management, policy and framework development and analysis within risk modelling or model validation in banking and finance. 

Energetic person who combines thinking and doing to come to a result, a teamplayer with an open and honest active communication style, analytical and able to quickly understand and explain complex matters, well skilled in stakeholder management and excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing. Fluent in both Dutch and English.
