What will be your new function?
Airborne ICT is responsible for the ICT Infrastructure, Applications landscape and the ICT Service Delivery, within Airborne. The team consists of an ICT Manager, an Applications Manager and a Service Desk employee. To strengthen the team we are looking for an Applications Support Employee / Medewerker Applicatiebeheer.
Your primary role will be to support the functional part of business applications throughout the company, like, for example, the ERP and PLM/DMS applications (+/- 70%); locally but also for our International sites. You will also support the Service Desk in solving incidents, service and change requests, assist in provisioning of hardware and workplace administration in the office and factory environment (+/- 30%).
You will support our end users in working with our applications, create and update documentation / instructions, help new employees to find their way within our application landscape, do minor application maintenance and initiate improvements regarding the use and management of specific software. You will also participate in key user meetings.
Further activities are to support the Service Desk in processing incidents, service and change requests and be in contact with several suppliers for 2nd or 3rd line support. Also helping out in workplace support, like installing and suppling ICT facilities and configuring the workplace. The function is based from our headquarters in The Hague, but you will also be providing support for our site in the UK.

Reporting and interactions
The Applications Support Employee falls under the ICT Manager, but will operationally report to the Applications Manager and work closely with the Service Desk Employee.
Minimum MBO in a technical area, preferably information technology or experience (min. 2 years) within an ICT function. Experience in application support / application management has a preference.
Affinity with business applications within the manufacturing industry, like for example several Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Pro.file PDM/PLM/DMS and CAD3D software.
Able, spoken and written, in both Dutch and the English language.
Able to translate business needs to application functionality / solutions
Good communication skills
