You like to support the team in the project OPO (Oracle Phase Out) by supporting the team where necessary. That means, you have a strong SQL and DWH & business knowledge to help with validation of the data.
As our client is in the middle of an exciting transition whereby Oracle phase out is high on the agenda. We are doing a lot of validation work so here is some strong SQL knowledge needed to ensure that the business will have no impact of the transition.

A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in business intelligence as an ETL developer with proven participation in creation of a data platform or a (cloud) data warehouse.
Able to maintain our in-house build ETL generator.
Experience with a cloud platform and knowledge of an understanding of Infrastructure (IaC).
Candidate will need to have: experience with:
- An ETL/ELT tool (e.g. Matillion, Powercenter etc.)
- SQL (expert level) and relational database concepts
- Data warehouse profound knowledge
- Different modelling techniques (e.g. dimensional modeling)
- Python / Redshift of andere programmeertaal (Matillion)
- Agile way of working
Candidate preferably also has experience with:
- Linux (Bash scripting)
- Scrum proces (Jira)
- Elasticsearch and Kibana
- Cloud technologies & infrastructure (e.g. preferably AWS and/or Google Cloud, Azure)
- Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. CloudFormation)
- CI/CD (DevOps,Git, Jenkins, Yaml)
- Basic knowledge of Data visualization tools
- fluent in English, both orally and in writing
- able to advise and influence colleagues and business

Within the Operational Insights team we know the roles product owner, scrum master, analyst, data engineer, infra specialist and MicroStrategy specialist. Our common goal is to make data work, our customers and candidates.
The team is responsible for the Management Information System of our client.
Our data engineers integrate and transform the data from the different systems and then load it into our data warehouse. Accuracy, completeness and timeliness are paramount, with the performance in mind. If the data is in our data warehouse, our MicroStrategy specialists will create the semantic / schema layer, the attributes and the metrics. The result is a self-service environment for creating reports and dashboards. In addition, we develop standard reports and dashboards that are used throughout the organization.
Note: at this moment the team is in a bumpy phase due to the time limit on phasing out the Oracle module
