ASML has started the Learning & Development program, which will contribute to ASML’s ambition by accelerating the growth and innovation of ASML through enabling the timely development of mission critical skills and capabilities. To achieve this, the program will provide leading end-to-end learning solutions that drive the growth of our people, partners, company and culture.

Job Mission

Due to the rapid growth of ASML in the past years, and growth expected in the coming years, the need has increased for a solid and scalable Learning & Development organization. As technology advances and diversity and complexity of ASMLs products is growing, knowledge-sharing and learning – shared and connected across sectors - becomes even more essential. Part of this program is the workstream for enhancing learning & knowledge management infrastructure. This workstream will enable the employee to drive their development, find information, and to learn from each other while supported by innovative technology. Specifically, the workstream will:

Implement short term infrastructure improvements wrt configuration, content, taxonomy, integrations and housekeeping.

Conduct detailed review of current infrastructure including recommendations for improvement in the short-term and long term.

Create and implement the long term plan for ASML’s future-proof Learning and Knowledge Management infrastructure.

Define and implement Learning infrastructure governance model in alignment with HR IT and learning centers including standards to ensure consistent and uniform way of working.

Functie-eisen

Education

Master Degree in IT, Human Resource, Business or Organizational Change.

Experience

Desired Candidate Experience

8+ year of experience with a proven track record of managing HRIT infrastructure/ technical programs in organizations of a similar size and scope to ASML; experience in change management is an added benefit.

International mind-set with a proven ability to operate effectively with various stakeholders groups and in various cultures

Excellent project management and Agile skills.

Style

Energetic and high impact, comfortable operating at pace and setting pace for a team in a collegiate but demanding and results-oriented environment. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a low ego and high humility; must have the credibility and style to build respect and trust both across the organization.

ASML is een Nederlands hightechbedrijf en een van de belangrijkste leveranciers van machines voor de halfgeleiderindustrie, in het bijzonder steppers en scanners, die worden gebruikt bij het maken van chips. Klanten zijn veelal chipproducenten. Het hoofdkantoor en bedrijvencomplex van ASML staat in Veldhoven, waar zowel research and development en assemblage in cleanrooms plaatsvindt. Het bedrijf heeft tevens zestig servicepunten in veertien landen ter ondersteuning van de plaatsing en levering van machines en reserve-onderdelen.

ASML is ontstaan uit een joint venture van ASM International en Koninklijke Philips. ASML levert wereldwijd, maar de meeste van haar klanten zijn gevestigd in Azië. In 2011 werd 66% van de omzet in die regio behaald, 25% in de Verenigde Staten en iets minder dan 9% in Europa. De grootste klant was verantwoordelijk voor een kwart van de totale omzet. De belangrijkste leverancier van ASML is Zeiss, een fabrikant van lenzen en optische componenten. Het aandeel van Zeiss in de totale inkoopkosten van ASML is iets minder dan 30%. Vanwege de grote wederzijdse belangen zijn beide bedrijven een strategisch alliantie aangegaan; deze kan alleen verbroken worden als een van de partijen drie jaar te voren opzegt. ASML geeft veel geld uit aan onderzoek en ontwikkeling;
