Due to the covid 19 situation we are currently focussing on candidates that are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.
As a Sr. Systems Engineer your primary task will be to translate ideas and possibilities from the market into feasible technical concepts in collaboration with the Product Managers. In this role you will transform concepts into actual project proposals and will be the overall technical lead throughout the different development phases; from proof of concept to mass production readiness. This means you will be creating new projects from a broad and multidisciplinary architectural viewpoint, conceptualizing the required components, involving the engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software etc.) and managing the inevitable “tradeoffs”.
The R&D department in the Netherlands is a multidisciplinary and multicultural engineering environment. It consists of 100+ team members supporting various disciplines such as: Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Software and Process Engineering.
As the new Sr. Systems Engineer you will join a highly skilled Systems Engineering team consisting of (Sr.) System Engineers, Motion-, Vision and Accuracy Specialists. Together with the team you are responsible for defining the architecture of the system. Although the products and solutions are complex you will be personally influencing the end results. You will be working in an informal atmosphere, taking broad responsibilities, solving challenging projects and developing personal growth.
You recognize yourself in the following requirements:
• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-output, high-accuracy equipment environment
• Even though you don’t design too much yourself anymore, MATLAB and/or CAD hold no secrets for you
• You’re result-driven and have a can-do mentality
• You’re eager to learn new technologies and are passionate to initiate/share new ideas with internal peers
• You’re fluent in English and willing to learn Dutch
To be successful in this challenging role you feel comfortable working in a demanding, multidisciplinary, high-tech systems environment with an informal working culture. As a person and professional you have a good fit with (fine) mechanical engineering combined with mechatronics and software influences.
We will boost your career through personal and technical growth. We’ll support you by offering a personal coach and the possibility to follow courses and training via our highly recommended

You will be challenged by your peers. As a result you’ll be able to keep your knowledge and skills up-to-date!
