PHILIPS is looking for an experienced Analog Design Engineer to contribute to the development of their medical devices. Your activities include the setting up of the design concept and requirements. You demonstrate the feasibility of your designs by prototyping and simulating. You verify that your design and implementation complies with the requirements and long-term architecture and that technical risks are mitigated.

You will:

  • develop functional prototypes and devices (including design, documentation, and testing)
  • design, develop, modify, and evaluate hardware systems and components per safety and regulatory requirements
  • write technical design support documentation, test protocols, and reports for the verification and certification. You will also build the electrical development plan as input for the project plan, in cooperation with the project manager.
You will be part of an international and dynamic team, where you will quickly get the support, space, and responsibility to develop yourself and grow within the company.


To succeed in this role, we would like you to have the following skills and experience:

  • bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • at least 3 years experience in the design and implementation of systems and experience in electrical subjects and equipment such as electronics, EMC/EMI, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and network analysers
  • experience with analog design related to filter design, RF design, and amplifiers. Also, experience with power design topics, such as AC/DC converters, transformers, DC switched
  • experience working in a regulated industry, preferably the medical one
  • good communication skills in English
  • being proactive, flexible, and not afraid to take initiative
