Over de functie

Our client in Amersfoort and R&D in Wageningen is looking for an enthusiastic, service minded support engineer who is used to work in a complex environment providing high end customer service related to IT such as (but not restricted to) workplace management (Hardware and Software), Printing, Network services, Cloud services (like Microsoft Office365, Intune etc.) and Unified Communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and troubleshooting/Debugging user problems within given SLA and quality;
  • Handling user complaints and problem escalation professionally;
  • Ticket management;
  • Workplace Management;
  • Asset Management;
  • Collect;
  • Handout;
  • Stock management;
  • CMDB maintenance;
  • VIP Support;
  • Analyzes current and future needs for improvement of ICT support to minimize repeatable problems;
  • Guidance and support of user departments in using the correct processes and procedures for IT requests/incidents/questions;
  • Patching of LAN/Telephony equipment;
  • Management and operational support of local IT-systems and services under responsibility of internal/external delivery teams;
  • Responsible managing physical access to the Server room and cleanliness;
  • On request visual check of IT infrastructure on site (lights on check/normal state check/hands and eyes onsite);
  • Receive IT assets sent by post or delivered by courier;
  • Relationship management- and support of Local IT contacts / key users;
  • Contact person for internal/external IT providers in case of onsite activities (scheduling of activities onsite; incidental outside office hours);
  • Contact person for internal/external IT providers in case of remote activities with impact on availability of services for this site (scheduling of activities remote);
  • Guidance of employees of external IT suppliers on site.

Within our IT-department we are the face towards the business, responsible for delivering IT solutions enabling our employees to do their daily work. We support our colleagues in questions around workplace, printing, general IT issues and more.


  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Minimum MBO4-IT or similar;
  • 5 years’ experience in similar role;
  • Secure and accurate way of working;
  • VIP Support experience;
  • Overall knowledge of IT hard- and software (Win10 (Bios, Drivers, etc.);
  • MS Office applications;
  • Overall understanding of infrastructure services;
  • Basic knowledge of network\workstation\server related infrastructure services;
  • Good common sense understanding of specific business needs & operational requirements;
  • Experience with both Customer and internal IT delivery relationship management;
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow;
  • Knowledge of mobile devices (Android/IOS);
  • ITIL foundation v3 or v4 certified;
  • No 9 to 5 menatlity;
  • Driving license.


Deze rol is op basis van detachering, waarbij de intentie is om uiteindelijk over te gaan naar een vaste aanstelling bij onze klant.
