Role Objectives:
The engineer is responsible for designing truck electrical schematics, harness routing and drawing. This would require a clear system understanding and experience with truck high and low voltage electrical systems. We are looking for an engineer who can work independently to create state of the arts design and devise innovative solutions.

  • Defining requirements for electrical systems;
  • Creating electrical schematics and harness routing;
  • Making specifications for development and supplier via drawings;
  • Support Test and build activities.



  • Bachelor Automotive or Electrical Engineering;
  • Relevant experience in and affinity with the automotive industry;
  • Hands on mentality to support procurement, test and build activities;
  • Creative and flexible (outside the box thinking) as well as analytically strong;
  • Capable at working in a team.

The Big Truck Development Centre (BTDC) in Nijmegen is responsible for design and development of a range of Forklifts and Container Handler trucks. These products are Engineered and Manufactured in Nijmegen. Engineering involves itself in designing new products, constructing, testing and prototyping. Existing developments are improved and validated as well. The BTDC also enhances special production engineering (SPED), which develops special truck models based on client–specific requirements.
