The Global IT (GIT) Business Application Support employee (BAS) for R&D is part of the Global IT Center of Excellence (COE) MTD and R&D team within Global IT Enterprise Solutions department. 

The BAS-employee is the business facing Linking-Pin between the business & IT stakeholders and the services being provided by the (Accenture) offshore team in Manilla. This role is available because of the massive growth of JDE. 

JDE is a SAP based company, with SAP business applications. But in this role you are dealing with 10 NON SAP applications, like an Oracle Product Lifecycle app, Labatory information, a few databases, an application for intellectual property, Autocad and some Pegasystems applications. 

For these applications you are the 1st and 2nd line support employee. By a thorough understanding of the landscape and by questioning, you will decide to which party you will escalate the issue.

Functie-eisen

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience similar to the Business Application Support is required;
  • Must have: business proficiency in English, because of the business contacts with Manilla. Besides that JDE has got an only English speaking environment;
  • Minimum 3 - 4 years of IT and Business/Industry work experience;
  • Been part of large global multi–million dollar implementation programs with experience in process lead roles, working on design thinking, application selection, blue printing, design, build, testing, deployment and user training;
  • Prior experience in working with onshore/offshore model with delivery centers in India & Philippines preferred;
  • Good knowledge on operating systems like Windows 7 & 10, Windows Server applications and basic understanding of IT Networks;
  • An active attitude to learn and ambition to improve and grow Analytical capability to assign issues/tickets to the right support organization;
  • Basic knowledge of interfacing.
