Supply Chain Analyst

Over de functie


  • Generation and preparation of the monthly rolling forecast
  • Management of monthly Sales & Operations Planning calls / meetings with EMEA countries & European Marketing and Financial Managers.
  • Maintenance of historical & forecast data in JDA Forecasting software.
  • Regular documented review with key stake holders
  • Make sure that all internal / external stakeholders are aware about marketing strategy and related action plan & timing.
  • Coordinate new products launches and discontinuations.
  • Challenge forecast accuracy performance and prepare relevant questions to communicate prior to the monthly reviews
Inventory Planning
  • Maintain optimum Inventory Levels in EMEA to guarantee agreed service levels and minimize obsolescence risks.
  • Regular documented review with key stake holders
  • Raise purchase orders with respect to vendor lead time
  • Monitor on-time delivery of purchased products.
  • Support Marketing in product launches and discontinuation plans.
  • Assist the manager for the annual inventory plan evaluation as well as for the inventory reserves estimation
Vendor Performance Monitoring
  • Communicate monthly distribution plan and transmit the purchase orders with respect of agreed lead time.
  • Establish and communicate the vendor performance reports and take necessary actions with the suppliers to obtain the desired service in terms of on-time deliveries.
Project and Cost Management
  • Support and initiate initiatives to continually improve processes, inventory levels, performance and to optimise operational costs through all stages of the supply chain process.
Participate actively on the implementation of new projects initiated by the company and give appropriate feedback about projects status verse plan in terms of qualitative and timely execution


  • Technical University degree in Supply Chain Management or 2 years successful experience in Demand & Supply with strong background knowledge.
  • Theoretical and Practical knowledge of Supply Chain concepts 
  • Excellent English language skills, verbally and written. Second European language is an advantage
  • Able to travel occasionally
  • Excellent communication skills, written as well as verbally
  • High analytical and qualitative skills
  • Min. 2 years experience in an international supply organization
  • Experience in multi regional logistics networks
  • Experience in multi echelons supply chain environment
  • Experience in strong analytical environment
  • Experience in professional reporting techniques
  • Experience with management systems (e.g. PeopleSoft/JDA /SAP, MS Office)
  • Familiar with  Financial processes and requirement


A contract for 10 months with Yacht with the possibility to work longer for Yacht.
