CONTEXT OF THE ROLE
Welcom to ASML!
The Dutch company ASML is one of the few companies in the world that provides chip-producing machines to tech-giants like Intel and Samsung. The chips that are made by the machines of ASML end up in smartphones,computers, cars and aeroplanes. ASML is responsible for around 85% of the total market of chip production.
The machines that make these chips have to be delivered and put together on site , for example for that new Samsung S9 that you or one of your friends are going to order in the future. Before mass-production of these chips, these giant machines have to be assembled all-around the world.
And that is where you will come into play..
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
☑ Perform Intergration Tests (calibration and system qualification)
☑ Perform administrative and coordination duties incl. reporting and technical escalations.
☑ Contribute to the improvement loop of the EUV platform and processes.
☑ Transfer a fully tested and qualified system.
☑ Be abroad for periods of 6 weeks
☑ Represent ASML at the customer site in ASML style.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?
☑ Bachelor in Applied Sciences/ Polytechnic University (Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Physics/ Aviation or similar)
☑ OR 5+ years experience in system installs of cars/ airplanes etc.
☑ Affinity towards assembly of mechanical devices
☑ Readiness to be abroad (50-65% of the time)
☑ High level of technical understanding and commitment to self learning.
☑ Drives to achieve high quality of work.
☑ English is a MUST

The photolithography machines manufactured by ASML are used in the production of computer chips. In these machines, patterns are optically imaged onto a silicon wafer that is covered with a film of light-sensitive material (photoresist). This procedure is repeated dozens of times on a single wafer. The photoresist is then further processed to create the actual electronic circuits on the silicon. The optical imaging that ASML's machines deal with is used in the fabrication of nearly all integrated circuits, and as of 2010, ASML has 67 percent of the worldwide sales of lithography machines, with the competition consisting of Ultralight, Canon and Nikon.
