Our client is a leading international manufacturing company with 50 production sites worldwide. The IT department in this organization operates both from Joure as well as Hamburg. The department is responsible for the business applications used in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments worldwide. This responsibility comprises the design, implementation and maintenance of business and application systems that support these departments. Within the IT department in the Support Desk team a challenging position became available for an experienced Support Engineer.
 
 The Support Desk is responsible for supporting Application users for all Applications (both local as well as central)within the company, worldwide, 24x7 and in different time zones. The Support Engineer is part of this team and as such responsible for the Functional Support of one or more of these applications.

  • Manage customer incidents problems in accordance to SLA timeframes and Company Standards.
  • Act as a 2nd line resolver on the allocated functionality. 
  • Translate customer feedback into actions or proposals that will lead to an increasing Quality of Service. 
  • Monitor automated alerts and follow up to ensure continuity of business processes. 
  • Ensure all Support documentation, procedures, work instructions and manuals are available and up-to- date. 
  • Deliver training to 1 st Line Support to ensure an efficient cooperation between the customer and the Support Desk
